Julie Danskin
Julie believes that with the right support, in a confidential and trusting environment, people can develop strategies and tools to effectively deliver complex and strategic agendas.
Julie draws on her coaching expertise, business acumen, awareness of organisational politics, as well as her understanding of people, relationships and teams. She is also a therapeutic coach, working with people to develop strategies to improve emotional wellbeing, work life balance and confidence; either separate to, or alongside leadership coaching.
Julie is a qualified Executive Coach and Mentor, Coach Supervisor and Senior Leader, specialising in leadership development, career progression and transition and personal effectiveness.
Julie mainly works with senior leaders from the public sector, although has also coached clients in a large financial institution.
As a new CEO I was struggling to find balance between my work and family commitments and was concerned about retaining my core leadership values amongst chaos! I wanted support to re prioritise myself, set a healthy example to my teams and to re-programme my high expectations of myself and others to something more realistic and achievable. Julie is insightful, positively challenging, authentic and brought with her a catalogue of tools and techniques to support my mindset change, as well as a great sense of humour and deep understanding of the challenges faced by executive leaders.
CEO Primary Care Federation
Coaching has provided me with the headspace to reflect on my performance to date, acknowledge my successes, and to plan next steps. At this crucial time in my career, the time with Julie has been invaluable. She has supported me to find my own answers, practice self-compassion as well as encouraging me to be brave!
