Coaching
Coaching offers individuals, teams and organisations focused and purposeful space for reflection, learning and making commitment to change.
What might you focus on?
Coaching is a space for you to think about your challenges and successes, your leadership approach, your career or relationships at work. It can offer a place for you to focus on goals, your wellbeing and resilience, your self-development and growth.
Our clients bring a wide range of issues to coaching such as exploring career aspirations, enabling transition, developing effective leadership/management skills, growing confidence, building teams, exploring strategic challenges, collaborating effectively with others, building effective relationships, workload management, and building resilience,
An individual’s experience of coaching differs depending on what they bring and what they want to work on. It could:
- Develop your goals and sense of direction and purpose,
- Improve your self-confidence
- Help you build better relationships
- Bring you a new perspective
- Help you to work on your own solutions
- Sharpen your focus
- Unlock your creativity
- Help you become ‘unstuck’, to overcome barriers
Teams
Teams can benefit from team coaching or peer coaching to become more effective, to create shared objectives and outcomes, to develop relationships, new ways of working and creativity.
Organisations
Organisations can benefit from coaching as it can help to motivate and engage your people. Coaching can foster improved relationships between your people and enable potential and talent to be developed through your organisation, improve staff retention and reduce recruitment costs.
Coaching is empowering and focusses on improvements to performance
How does it work?

- Step 2 Exploring and Contracting
- Discussing your needs and goals with your coach and contracting to work together for three to six sessions.
- Step 3 Working Together
- Working together for three to six coaching conversations supporting you to reach your potential.
- Step 4 Evaluation
- Reviewing your journey and closing the coaching relationship.

Cath Brown has been of immense support to me as Chief Executive of Show Racism the Red Card. The last three years have been extremely challenging for all of us with the Pandemic following many years of cuts and austerity. Cath has helped coach me during this time and given me the tools to deal with many of the problems our charity has faced. My sessions with Cath always leave me invigorated, and with a much clearer strategy for dealing with whatever problems have arisen. Show Racism the Red Card are a growing organisation, and Cath has helped us put together a much clearer strategy for going forward in the next five years.
